Electromagnetic frequencies (“EMFs”) are all around us in today's world. They are set to become even more prevalent than ever as 5G networks roll out and transmitter density increases exponentially; You may or may not know this but EMFs are emitted by devices used by everyday individuals, including computers, tablets, and cell phones.
Unfortunately, these frequencies can have a negative impact on athletic performance because they cause oxidative stress.
What is Oxidative Stress?
The process of oxidation happens as our bodies metabolize (a/k/a processes) the oxygen that we breathe, and our cells produce energy from it. This process also produces free radicals –which interact with the molecules within our cells resulting in damage (or stress) to nearby cells, mitochondria, and DNA (our genes).
Free radicals are normal and necessary to some degree. Though free radicals cause damage, they also stimulate repair. The damage really occurs when the amount of free radicals overwhelms the repair processes. We refer to this phenomenon as oxidative stress.
Oxidation happens under a number of circumstances including:
· When our cells use glucose to make energy
· When the immune system is fighting off bacteria and creating inflammation
· When our bodies detoxify pollutants, pesticides, and cigarette smoke
Oxidation is enhanced when we are physically and/or emotionally stressed. The damage caused by oxidation is mitigated when you have enough antioxidants in your body.
The following may increase your risk of oxidative stress:
food contaminants, such as pesticides
exposure to industrial chemicals
EMFs/radiation How does Oxidative Stress and EMFs effect our Brain Function?
While I can spend hours on how much of the above can bring our bodies out of balance, lets focus on EMFs.
Our brains need fresh blood and oxygen to operate effectively. Unfortunately, oxidative stress contributes to a slower than normal delivery of blood and oxygen to the brain; This slow delivery is bad for our bodies.
Think of it this way - If our cells are constantly radiated, our bodies are constantly stressed via oxidative stress. If we are constantly stressed via oxidative stress, our cells cannot produce the energy we need fast enough. As a result, our cells will begin to “clump” together in an effort to shield themselves. This in turn, will lead to the slow delivery of blood and oxygen.
I did some research on signs and symptoms of EMF exposure on the body and Brain Hyxnia. Oddly enough, the two produce similar symptoms, which include:
sleep problems, including insomnia
depression and depressive symptoms
fatigue and lethargy
dysesthesia (a painful, often itchy sensation)
memory recall issues
loss of appetite and weight loss
restlessness and anxiety
skin burning and tingling
nose bleeds, in rare instances
Some ways to avoid oxidative stress:
Supporting my immune system and muscle recovery
Eating correct especially foods that promote the production of antioxidants and avoiding sugar and processed foods while balancing your blood sugar levels
Carving time out of your body for daily stress relieving activities
Getting enough sleep
Neutralizing the harmful effects of EMFS
I am sure you have heard of the first few, but the last one? How can I avoid the harmful effects of EMFS when we are being bombarded by them in every direction. In fact, the following things we use on a daily basis emit EMFs
· Cell phones
· Smart gadgets (think smart watches and
· Wifi signals
· Cell towers
· Dirty Electricity being produced by lights and basically anything plugged in.
Now think about how you are being directly attacked when you are working out. Most of us have a smart gadget and carry a cell phone. Not only is your gym located near a cell phone tower, but I am sure it uses a router, modem and Bluetooth devices. I am fairly certain the other businesses within the area also utilize the same technology. Even if you don’t wear an Apple Watch, I am sure you are standing next to other people that do. Now think back to what this is doing to your body and how your brain is missing out on the fresh blood and oxygen it needs so that you are at your peak athletic performance.
How can I balance the harmful effects of EMFs to improve my overall athletic performance?
I work with a few companies that have figured out a way to change the energy we are being exposed to so it no longer effects our DNA but yet allows the gadgets to work in the manner they are supposed to. All the companies I work with use different modalities but produce the same results.

EMF protection products allow you to continue using your wireless electronic devices while protecting your body from the harmful effects of electromagnetic frequency exposure. There are a plethora of remedies to pick from. Neutralizing stickers are made for cell phones, tablets, computers. Some devices can protect your car or your entire home. There are also wearable devices like necklaces, a chip or band for your smart watch or bracelets, – even one designed specifically for wearing during sports and exercise.
EMF protection products should not be confused with EMF blockers. Blockers are effective, but they can interfere with the use of electric devices. Protection products, on the other hand, allow you to use wireless electronic devices with ease.
A BIT ABOUT ME:
I’m consider myself to be an athlete 😊. I take part in a Crossfit Style fitness program 4 -5 days a week at Marble Strength and I Olympic lift 6 days, (I know there is only 7 days in a week). For this reason, I need to make sure my oxidative stress levels are at their lowest.
I personally do not wear any smart gadgets on me while I workout. I do however wear an energy bracelet pictured. I also have EMF protection powder and stickers in the soles of my shoes to help with grounding. All of this is meant to neutralize the man-made energies around me that normally would put my body into an oxidative stress state. This means my cells can work the way they were intended. At times I will wear my Airpods if I am by myself and need to hit a big lift (like the one pictured) or there is running programmed in my fitness workout but they have been stickered with EMF neutralizing stickers. In addition, In this particular photo, under the tape, I have two energy patches strategically placed to help balance the energy where I am currently lacking because of a broken wrist I had suffered almost a year ago. Within a few days, I can remove the patches with barely any pain left.
How do I know it’s working?
Besides Blood Microscopy I (and others) feel the difference. I also have had all products muscle tested. Muscle testing is a method of detection that shows how your energy interacts with something. For example, some may muscle test for allergies. In addition to being muscle tested, I’ve had a bio-resonance blood test done on me. The Bio-Resonance test shows that no one in my family who uses the products offered has any EMF damage. In my opinion, this is extremely rare.
Finally, talk to my coach:
I am a 40 year-old mom who doesn’t drink coffee, yet I show up to the gym every single day to train for 1-3 hours. Where do I get the energy? I just found away to never give it away!
Stephanie, better known as “Steph” is a coach at Marble Strength/Weightlifting. I noticed she was wearing an Apple Watch and we got to talking about the effects. When we spoke about her watch, she complained about the symptoms she was experiencing and concerned about. This led her to wear it less. I convinced her to try the “Apple Watch harmonizer” and she was not disappointed. The final results? She could now wear the watch without any of the symptoms she was experiencing. In addition, her heart rate was remaining longer in Zone 4 and getting closer to Zone 5. Before the harmonizer, Steph found herself stuck in Zones 1-3. After comparing her heart rate zones for a few weeks, it was noted she was able to stay in Zone 4 and able to move into Zone 5.
